Update…

Hi everyone,
Long time since I’ve updated this site so going to make a real effort now!
I don’t look much like the photos on here so will upload some new ones.
2011 has been great so far…
I recently completed a 7 week UK tour of ‘Brother Loves Travelling Salvation Show’ starring Brian Conley, Darren Day and Ben James-Ellis, directed by Craig Revel Horwood. Playing the classic Neil Diamond hits to a lively audience in a big top tent is as memorable as it sounds! (www.neilsaves.com)
Hoping to do more with this show in the Summer next year so keep checking in
Earlier in the year I performed at Dublin’s National Concert Hall for two nights with the ‘World’s Biggest Big Band’ and the ‘London Big Band’ alongside band leader Chris Dean (Frank Sinatra, Cliff Richard, Shirley Bassey, various Royal Variety Performances).
I hired a fantastic Guild jazz guitar from Norman Mitchell at Old Hat Guitars in Horncastle which suited the Tony Bennett and Burt Bacharach set a treat!
I have continued with the UK Theatre Tour of ‘The Sounds of Burt Bacharach’, it’s a great show and there aren’t too many oppurtunites left to see it so get in touch if you want to know where it is next! http://www.retrosellers.com/features250.htm
Also to add to my list of work this year I had the chance to record on radio jingles for the BBC and play on a version of ‘Sweet Caroline’ for the ‘Alan Titchmarsh Show’, ITV.
Dave Formula’s solo album ‘Satellite Sweetheart’ has been on sale for a few months now and has had some great reviews and air play. There are clips of 3 tracks on my website that Dave kindly let me use so have a listen.

Looks like I will have a one off gig with Queen Tribute act ‘Majesty’ on the 27th of August, really looking forward to learning all the classic Brian May licks and moves! They really go to town with this show, we have to dress up and everything!
And last but by no means least I am very proud to be accepted in the World Class corporate band ‘One Night Only’ alongside some of the countries top session musicians. Just got back from playing a wedding at the grand Chatsworth House and we got some lovely comments from a wide range of guests. Fronted by the fantastic Jayne Curry and arranged by musical director, Richard Weeden. If you ever have a function or event this band will not dissapoint! http://www.ukliveband.com/
I will keep you updated as I go along. Feel free to get in touch, would love to hear from you.
Andy
